“Caress the detail, the divine detail.”

-Vladimir Nabakov

Ava Golde 2026

Think about the things you love most. Chances are, none of them started with a plan.

You’re not entirely sure how you got here. You followed something…a recommendation, a feeling, a curiosity that didn’t quite make sense until now. That’s usually how the best things start.

My name is Ava. I’m the girl who read Nabokov at seventeen and never quite recovered. I was raised on the west coast and educated on the east, which left me with a deep love of both wild places and cultured ones. I have strong opinions about 19th century prose, and the kind of taste that takes years to build. I have a rare book collection, a weakness for cities with good museums, and the particular gift of making someone feel, for a few hours or a few years, like the only person in the room.

It took all of this before I understood what I was actually best at. It’s something harder to put on a resume: the long conversation, the unhurried evening, the particular pleasure of someone’s complete and genuine attention. I figured out relatively early that this was worth more than anything my degrees were pointing me toward. So here I am, based in New York City, doing it deliberately, doing it well, and not apologizing for either. I don’t need to be here. I choose to be. I find that makes all the difference.

About Me

When we meet you’ll notice my eyes first, hazel, and apparently impossible to pin down. They’ve been called wild, which I’ve always taken as a compliment. My face is expressive to a fault; I’ve been told it couldn’t keep a secret if it tried, which is either a flaw or an asset depending on the situation. I carry myself with a certain ease, developed over years, and I’ve been known to abandon it entirely when something genuinely delights me. That happens more often than you might expect.

I hold two degrees and an only partially ironic obsession with Russian literature. Ask me about Nabokov or the aesthetic movement and I will talk your ear off with genuine enthusiasm, the kind that’s difficult to fake and, I’m told, rather infectious. I read constantly: history, biography, fiction, and the occasional fantasy novel I will not apologize for. My library is substantial and growing, with a particular weakness for rare and early editions.

Outdoors, I hike, swim, ski, ride horses, and I’m PADI Advanced open water certified — which means my idea of an adventure can range from a black tie event to forty feet underwater, and I’m equally at home in both, though the attire does vary a bit.

I’ve been described as feminine and sensual, but also as someone who knows far too much about the plague, who will remember your favorite color, and the details of a conversation you’d half forgotten. I am a true lady when the occasion calls for it. I also have quite the wild side. I believe you’ll enjoy both in equal measure. I find most people fascinating, which makes me, I’m told, unusually good company.

A few things that tell you more than a biography might: I once befriended an orchestra member at Teatro San Carlo, the oldest opera house in the world, and found myself alone on its stage before the house opened. The kind of evening that happens when you say yes to things. My favorite films are Shakespeare In Love, Moulin Rouge, 1917 and The Favourite, which tells you something about how I feel about beauty, sacrifice, power and a well constructed ending. I love both classical music and techno, which surprises some people until I explain that they’re both, at their best, about architecture.

If you recognize what you’re looking for when you see it, I think you’ll find the next page rather easy to write.

For a few seconds they looked silently into each other’s eyes, and the distant and impossible suddenly became near, possible, and inevitable.”

-Leo Tolstoy

A Few of My Favorite Things

Gifts are never expected, but I would be lying if I said they didn’t produce a particular smile.

To drink: Veuve Clicquot, Moët, or a dry Dom Pérignon are always welcome. I’m also a scotch lover — a Balvenie 17 would be very well received. For wine, I have a weakness for orange wines and Oregon Pinot Noirs.

I have a sweet tooth and no shame about it. Ladurée macarons are a specific weakness. Good chocolate is never wrong.

My favorite flowers are tulips, particularly white and yellow ones. I also love peonies when they are in season.

Lingerie I consider a gift for both of us — my favorites are Agent Provocateur and La Perla. Ask about sizes, or better yet, make a boutique visit part of the afternoon and choose something yourself.

I wear mostly yellow gold and have a deep appreciation for diamonds, emeralds, rubies, and opals.

Gift cards are always thoughtful: Bergdorf Goodman, Saks, Agent Provocateur, Delta, Sephora, Rescue Spa, or Aire Ancient Baths are all genuinely appreciated.

And if you want to make a lasting impression: I collect rare books. A first or early edition from Nabokov, Edith Wharton, Henry James, or Tolstoy would be cherished forever, and would almost certainly come up in conversation for years afterward.

To inquire about more time together, please reach out directly.

I don’t offer an incall location, though discretion is never a problem. I’m happy to arrange a hotel in advance, covered along with your deposit.

Longer engagements are always prioritized and genuinely preferred. The best evenings are the ones with nowhere to be. For dates of three hours or more, I ask that we build in some time out in the world together such as a meal, a drink, somewhere worth going. If for your discretion we cannot leave the suite, please add 1000 to the envelope.

Overnights and multi-day arrangements are something I look forward to with particular enthusiasm. For overnight guests, I ask for at least seven hours of sleep. I take our time together seriously enough to show up fully rested for it. In date extensions, where my schedule allows, are 1000 per additional hour.

Travel outside New York is very possible with a minimum six-hour engagement and covered travel expenses. The further the destination, the more notice I’ll need, so do reach out early.

Some of my most cherished relationships have been ongoing ones, measured in years rather than hours, built slowly and with genuine care. There is something I find deeply fulfilling about the kind of connection that develops over time: the shared references, the easy familiarity, the particular pleasure of someone who already knows how you take your coffee and what makes you laugh.

I am, one might say, an excellent mistress…in the oldest and most distinguished sense of the word. The kind that corresponds by letter, remembers your mother’s birthday, and has strong opinions about where to eat in every city worth visiting. New York alone never runs out of reasons to linger, but I’m equally at home at a corner table in Paris or a quiet hotel bar anywhere worth being.

If you are looking for something that grows rather than simply begins, I would love to hear from you. These arrangements are given the highest priority in my schedule, and I approach them with the discretion and genuine investment they deserve.

Deportment, Discretion and Duos

I will always arrive fresh, composed, and dressed for whatever we’ve planned, with particular care taken for any specific requests. I ask only that you do the same.

If we’re meeting in public, please bring your donation in an envelope, a card, or tucked inside a book. If we’re meeting privately, leaving it somewhere visible when I arrive is always appreciated.

Privacy is something I take as seriously as you do. I understand that the people I spend time with often have professional reputations, public profiles, and personal lives that require absolute discretion.

I am entirely comfortable signing a mutual non-disclosure agreement and consider it a perfectly reasonable foundation for any arrangement of significance. If this is something you require, simply mention it when you reach out and we can have it arranged before we meet. Protecting your privacy is not an inconvenience — it is part of how I work.

I’m bisexual, and I love women as much as you do. If you’d like to bring someone special, have someone particular in mind, or would like me to suggest one of my beautiful friends, simply mention it when you write. Couples are equally welcome, with a minimum 2 hour date and an addition of 500 to the envelope.

Contact

If you’ve read this far, I suspect we’re already on the same page.

I take screening seriously — not as a formality, but because it’s what allows everything else to work well. My preferred method is two verifiable references from companions you’ve seen previously. If that’s not an option, simply say so and we’ll find another way.

Please reach out by email or the form below — not by call or text. When you write, include your name, age, contact details, preferred date, duration, location, and references or verification preference. All personal information is handled with complete discretion and deleted once screening is complete. The form below routes to a secure Proton address.

I ask for at least 24 hours’ notice for a first meeting, and longer where possible. I am selective about who I spend my time with, and outside of my time in this realm I keep busy with my artistic pursuits, thus my schedule fills quickly. So engagements planned in advance are always given priority.

If life intervenes and you need to cancel, I’ll hold the deposit toward a future date. With less than 24 hours notice, it becomes a gift.

Don’t underestimate the pleasure of something worth waiting for.
